Contacts - Find and edit contacts in Contentstack

You can find and edit contacts in two easy ways. First via the advanced search like showed in this article https://freshcells.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MEFAUM/pages/2799468545 or directly through the page.

Access contacts through a page.

Navigate to the contact page you want to edit contacts on in the frontend. Then click on the edit button on the bottom left of the screen to enter the Contentstack page.

After the click we will be redirected to the respective web page in Contentstack. Now we want to navigate to the section “Content Blocks for the main content” and edit the used content block. Be aware that the content block can have different names depending on which page and locale you are.

Click on the edit icon to jump into the content block itself.

Inside the content block, we see the rendered web page content. In our example we see several blocks and at the end, a block called “Contacts”. When clicking on it we will see the contact item which is displayed on our web page.

You can now delete it, edit it or add an existing one via “Choose existing entry” or create a complete new contact with “Create new entry”.

If you want to edit the existing one, click on the edit icon on the contact item.

Edit a contact.

Now that you are inside the contact you selected, you can start to adjust it’s properties.

These are the fields.

  1. Contact Title → The title which will be displayed at the top of the “business card”

  2. Contact Sub-Title → (optional) A short descriptive text which will be displayed below the title

  3. URL → displayed in the bottom section of the “business card” and can be also used to link the Contact Title to the contact’s website by checking the checkbox below the URL field

  4. Postal address - Fax → provide in here the physical address if it should appear in the website and all contact data that should be published

  5. Contact Notes → A descriptive text about the contact; will be displayed above the contact data
